Since 1992, Waste Reduction Partners (WRP) has provided Western North Carolina clients with waste reduction assessments, energy efficiency surveys, and assistance to enhance environmental sustainability programs.  The program provides confidential, no-cost on-site assessments to industries, business, local governments, and institutions.

WRP can help identify innovations strategies to:

  • Reduce utility costs
  • Improve energy efficiency & management
  • Improve productivity
  • Minimize waste
  • Enhance compliance
  • Reduce liabilities
  • Improve public image

Since 2000, WRP engineers and scientist have helped over 1,300 clients save $36 million in utility costs while greatly enhancing environmental and energy management programs.  Specialty services are available to any organization with a commitment to reducing waste and pursing environmental excellence.

The members of the WRP team are distinguished retired and volunteer engineers, architects dedicated to serving the Western North Carolina community.  They have had careers in a variety of industries, including aerospace, architecture, chemical, electric utilities, and machining among others.  They have served in key positions in business operations, health and environmental management, plant and facilities, project management, research and many more.
