been renovated for residential use (condos with garage on
first floor); this building exemplifies the 3 R’s- reduce,
recycle, reuse. Over 80% of the original building materials
have been incorporated into the renovation.
Environmental Concerns: Groundwater contaminated
with elevated levels of solvent.
A 2001 assessment identified groundwater
contaminated with TCE and soil with elevated levels of
grease.

building.
Environmental Concerns: Property contains two
monitoring wells and one contained visible amounts of
petroleum free product. Phase II Environmental Assessment
completed in April 2007, which identified additional
assessment needed to determine levels of soil contamination.
High vacuum recovery was done. No free product found in the
well. Additional field work was done in November, DENR
received the draft report in January 2008 and it is
currently under review.
