second conference to address potentially contaminated
properties in Western North Carolina. This one-and-a-half

brownfields projects and a community reception in
Asheville’s famous River District.

their experiences on the importance of brownfields
redevelopment, public-private partnerships and the roles of
key stakeholders involved in redevelopment. Learn what kinds
of financial incentives can be used to turn an upside-down
deal right-side up. Participate in a facilitated roundtable
discussion on new opportunities for redevelopment in our
region. See how local leaders and cutting-edge developers
are making brownfields deals work in our own communities.
