Local Government Services

The Council's Local Government Services Section provides an array of planning, grant writing, facilitation and project management services to our member local governments, and coordinated local, regional and multi-state projects in the area of environment, economic and community development.  The Section is comprised of eight professional planners, part-time interns and technicians, a Professional Engineer employed by the NC Division of Pollution Prevention and Environmental Assistance, and about 30 volunteer retired engineers and scientists.
